Do you want to look better, feel better or both?

When seeking professional fitness or nutrition advice, most people give reasons that fall into one of two categories: looking better or feeling better.

Do you want to look better:
• In that new dress or pair of pants
• In time for that big event
• On the beach next summer
• For your next date
• For yourself

Do you want to feel better:
• Avoiding that 2:30 PM crash without an energy drink
• Managing your stress levels
• Getting rid of that nagging lower back, knee, hip or shoulder discomfort
• Having energy to play with your kids after work
• Being the "go-to" guy or gal in your sports league
• Reducing your risk of heart attacks and diabetes
• Knowing that you are investing in yourself

The solution is easy. Executing it is hard.

The Problem: Your current eating & exercise habits may have you looking or feeling unsatisfied. And that impacts your ability to truly enjoy life.
The Solution: Move more & eat better. If you maximize movement & nutrition while minimizing injury, results will come.
The Challenge: To sustain results, the changes you make during the "solution" phase need to stick. Forever.

That's the difference between a "Fix" and a "Solution". That's why we can lose 30 pounds one year to gain back 40 pounds over the next 2 years. And do it again 3 years later. We choose to go on temporary "diets" and binges of physical activity without ever actually changing our underlying relationship with the food we eat or how we move our bodies. How long can you continue to do something you really don't want to do?

Long-term change = Re-establishing your relationship with food & fitness

Our services are an investment in yourself. They are for the person who feels like their body has caused them to lose control of their lives and happiness, but are ready to reclaim it. For my clients, the goals are different, the path is different, but the destination is the same: savoring life to the fullest.

You may have tried every fad diet and workout, yet have always regained the weight. Or you may be dealing with chronic hip, shoulder, lower back or knee discomfort with no avail despite every scan, test and treatment you could think of. Or you feel that you're missing that extra push to get you to compete the way you know you can, whether it be with your teammates on the athletic field or with your colleagues in the board room.

JM Wellness is for the person who is ready to redefine their bodies and their lives through their relationship with food and fitness: one bite and one step at a time.

Studies show people tend to eat less if you use smaller plates, bowls and utensils. Try eating cereal or soup out of a coffee mug instead of a bowl.
